Alcove bed

The Alcove Bed, designed by Nathan Yong in 2017, pays homage to the materials and craftsmanship used in its creation. The bed’s profile is unadorned, drawing attention to the beauty of the solid walnut rails, bedposts, and footboard. The inner edges of the headboard, footboard, and side rails are rounded over, creating a sturdy but not clunky appearance and making the mattress seem like it’s “tucking into” the bed frame. The turned-and-tapered canopy bed frame is elegantly proportioned, and there is ample space beneath the bed.
